For personal and practical reasons, I am ending Simfest for Charity. Reasons for this hiatus is mainly lack of motivation, but the low quality of equipment, lack of resources, and little support are other main reasons for the dissolution.
The Facebook page will be closed tonight. The Twitter and Twitch pages, alongside this website, will be closed to the public starting May 11.
Thank you to all who have supported us and donated to our marathon, especially BeyondSims.

Simfest for Child's Play Aftermath
First of all, I would like to thank all of the people who watched Simfest for Child's Play and all of the people who donated and wanted to donate. That means so much to me! I would also like to thank Ben for hosting the aftershow and moderating and Eppie for being a vital member of the chat. My thanks goes out to all of you!
We raised $16 for Child's Play. While that may not seem like much, it is still enough to make a difference!
Also, Dan W. was the winner of the stuff pack. Congrats!
Finally, stay tuned to this website! Another Simfest is just around the corner, and we will have so much more to offer, including introducing some new members to the team!
See you in the spring!

One more week!
Yes, everybody! There is only ONE MORE WEEK until Simfest for Child's Play begins! I am so excited for Simfest that I can hardly wait!
Remember, you can still donate early! Early donors will be featured on a special page on our website and will still receive all of the benefits of somebody who donates during the marathon. This also applies for donating after the marathon. The donation period ends on January 2, 2013.
I hope you all have a very wonderful, very safe Christmas and Kwanzaa!

Meet our newest mod!
Hello everybody! We officially have our first moderator and the host of the aftershow, Ben, aka benboyrocks! He will be helping us by moderating the chat during this Simfest. Ben is a dedicated Simmer who has given over 500 hours to The Sims series. We are so thankful to have him here!
Also, I would like to let you know that early donating has now begun. If you would like to send in some extra change before your Christmas shopping or if you know that you won't be able to donate until after the marathon, feel free to donate now. You will still be entered in the drawings for the stuff pack and SimPoints.
We still need a few more moderators! Please, feel free to contact us!

Two weeks until Simfest!
Hello, everybody! We now have 14 days until Simfest for Child's Play; that's right, two weeks! I am ready to dust off that "New Game" button, and so is the newest member to our team, TheEpicBananashroom! Shroomy and I have been the best of friends for over two years, and I am so glad that she has joined!
In two weeks, we will finally be opening up our Twitch page for the first time, ready to greet all of our fellow Simmers from all across the globe! However, we can't do this alone! If you are willing to help us from the comfort of your computer screen, please contact us before Christmas so that I can instruct you on what to do! We are in dire need of moderators and volunteers to help stream the Marathon Aftershow.
If you are interested or would like more information about either of these two tasks, please use the contact form in the "Contact Us!" page. Please note that you will need a Twitch.tv account to moderate or a Twitch.tv account AND the ability to stream if you would like to do the aftershow. We would love to have some volunteers!

As you may already know, Simfest for Child's Play will be happening on December 31st, 2012 at 3pm Eastern Standard Time. This Simfest Marathon will last for 12 hours straight, and we will be collecting donations for Child's Play, a charity dedicated to giving toys and video games to sick children in hospitals.
Over the month, I will be revealing important information about the marathon and have a few of my fellow Simmers introduce themselves. This is THE place for anything and everything Simfest! Remember to follow this website or bookmark it!
